Social Inequalities and Justice
Social Inequalities and Justice
My ideas on social inequalities come from smaller yet significant day-to-day struggles. The underlying generational trauma and allusions to racist, sexist, and casteist ideas in daily experiences, shape neo-racism in the modern-day scenario. These experiences shape both the oppressed and the privileged individuals to behave in a certain manner that inadvertently has a significant impact on social welfare and urban management. It is essential that we all are aware of these social undertones hidden in plain sight and the distress caused by them in the larger picture to make a significant change in biased city-building mechanisms.
