Research

I am an urban planner, specialising in transportation and transnational planning.

The field of Urban Planning is versatile, and it is necessary to play along. While most of my research centers around transportation and global studies, there is a fair amount of diversity in my research, with one of my most celebrated works being centered around LGBTQ and residential location choices.

Human behavior is highly unpredictable and as a planner, it is my duty to make sense of these random patterns that tell a story. Since 2017 when this profession chose me, I have been involved with research around human geography, urban mobility, and transnational planning.

As an undergraduate student at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, I worked on overcrowding in the Delhi Metro, the successful implementation of which gives me an immense sense of satisfaction. This possibility of giving back something meaningful to the society makes me research more into urban practice.
