Siddhesh Kudale is a current Master of Urban Planning candidate at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. He has a bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Having worked in New Delhi for a few years, he has closely observed the plight of systematically sidelined communities through both his work with the slum dwellers in East Delhi alongside the Center for Urban and Regional Excellence (CURE, India) and through various studio exercises.

Hailing from India, he is also hyper-aware of the social dynamics that are based on caste and class politics and racism in India, and how they impact racialization and social inequalities. Through his work, he tries to collect multiple perspectives on a topic, and then drive a wholesome analysis of the subject matter at hand, working effectively against bias.
